Kitchen & Bathroom Remodeling Process
With the goal of pleasing our clients and ensuring your design dream becomes a reality we implement a very strategic kitchen and bathroom design process. From start to finish, we guide you through the experience of designing your new space.
To get started with your kitchen and bath design the first step is meeting with our designer at the studio in Alexandria, VA. During this first meeting, we will brainstorm ideas, show you cabinets and materials, and help map out the design you’ve envisioned. This will be an involved meeting where we will complete the following:
- Discuss project parameters and budgeting. It’s always helpful when our clients come into the initial meeting with a general idea of their design goals (may include visuals, photos and rough measurements) and an approximate budget.
- Discuss our cabinet options and our varied manufacturers. At the Braemar studio, we feature cabinets by Decora´, Schrock, KitchenCraft and other reputable companies. While all of our cabinet options are well-crafted, beautiful and highly durable, each brand offers a uniqueness of its own. We’ll help you pair the perfect cabinets with your design ideas.
- Execute the design agreement and retainer. We will then schedule a field measure and a design presentation meeting.
You will leave our initial consultation with the confidence that Braemar will guide you through the design and materials selection process. To set up an initial consultation, contact us online or give is a call at (571) 290-0645.
During this phase, the Braemar team will visit with you at your home to take photos, measure all existing conditions, and to evaluate your current home décor. A precise field measure is an integral step in accurately designing your new space and ensuring we choose the best cabinets to fit your needs.
Design Presentation Meeting:
At the design presentation meeting, we will review renderings, floor plans and elevations in order to fully visualize your new space. We will then review material selections and design layout through the Environment, a digital visual that mimics what your new space will look like in reality. At this meeting, we will discuss any revisions needed. We will then review all notes, any change requests and adapt the design as needed.
Final Design Meeting:
When we arrive at this phase, your design reality is very close. At the final design meeting, we will review and approve revisions to the design. The sales agreement will then be executed and your new cabinetry will be ordered. If you need guidance selecting a contractor that will fit your needs, Braemar can assist you with that as well.
Post Order Follow-Up:
Braemar Kitchen and Bath prides itself on customer service, so once the design is approved, we will keep you informed regarding your order. The delivery of the cabinetry will be coordinated by Braemar’s field coordination team.
Through a strategic, step-by-step process, Braemar offers excellent customer service and unique design options. We look forward to meeting with you and creating the space you’ve always imagined.
